Maryland Ren Faire Sep 10 2017

[September 10 2017 Maryland, US]

So, okay, I don’t even recall which city this was in. Went with Joel and Miriam Bader, Joel driving.

Took a few pictures. Should have taken more. Oh well 🙂 The grounds were huge. I used to go to the Bristol Renaissance Faire in Wisconsin (south of Milwaukee near the Illinois border). Size wise, I’d say it was at least twice as big I think? It’s all circular so I may have misjudged the size. Anyway, it was a day of fun! Click on the pic or link below for more pictures:

Another Adventure – Colchester, UK with Paula and World

[June 26, 2017 through July 4, 2017 Colchester, UK]

SO, Over the years, I go to London and meet up with Paula and World (not his real name) in London. So I thought it would be good to go meet them where they live – in Colchester. About an hour away by train from central London…

So Colchester is to the east of London. I also circled Penzance which has nothing to do with this current story but I thought it would be cool to visit since it’s all the way “at the end” of England. And yes, that’s where the “Pirates of Penzance” by Gilbert and Sullivan occur…

But I digress. So here are the pictures from flight (outgoing via AA Boeing 787), my visit to Sherlock Holmes by Charring Cross (of course as usual, etc.), my stay this time at the InterContinental by O2 (that’s oh-two, not zero-two) and of course pics at Colchester and there was a Colchester festival going on, a few pics are from there… Sorry I didn’t annotate the pics well this time. Provincetown, MA Adventure May 18-21 2017

[May 18-21 2017, Provincetown, MA, US]

Okay, I was on a real puddle jumper. One pilot, no co-pilot. Crammed into a Cessna 402C on Cape Air – from Boston to Provincetown, MA. It was amazingly totally cool. I was going there to a new science fiction con (Nauticon) I haven’t been to. The flight was the best. Provincetown was amazing. The very tip of Massachusetts 🙂 (Click on the last picture below to see more amazing pictures…)

The only picture I took st the science fiction convention was this – the bottles we tasted at the Scotch tasting. (That was super great. Had a “can only get in Scotland” bottle, the leftmost, that the presenter brought back from Scotland. I tossed the program guide and I don’t recall his name so apologies for that.)

So that is how close I was sitting – right behind the pilot:
